This is the first race for amateur riders held in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province. Moreover, this is a race where PPC (Polypropylene - Poslystone Copolyme) double-body sailboats are manufactured by Viet Czech Technology Joint Stock Company, marking the development of domestic sailboat production and bringing Sailboat to operate tourism at Vung Tau Marina wharf, this service is still new in Vietnam and not yet available in Vung Tau City.

Contributing to this race is professional and amateur drivers from Ha Long, Nha Trang, Binh Thuan, Ho Chi Minh City, Vung Tau, Kien Giang and Czech Republic. Racers come from many different professions, but there is one thing in common is the love for nature, water and want to master in controlling these artistic sails. Attending the tournament, there were 48 athletes from 24 teams participating in the competition divided into 3 tables, each board chose 2 boats to head to the final. After 4 hours of competition, the race ended successfully with the overall victory of Team Sailboat 11.
